Your pet will receive a massaging bath and will be hand dried. And of course a cute bow or bandana to top it off! This service is intended for smooth coated or very short haired breeds that do not require any trimming or undercoat removal.

Pawlicies and Helpful Information
Your pet’s safety and well being are very important to me. In order to best care for your pet, and to operate business efficiently, there are some “pawlicies” I must put into effect.
-Your pet will come into contact with other pets while visiting with me at the beauty salon. In order to keep your pet protected, it is required that he/she is current on vaccinations. This includes Rabies, DHLP-Parvo, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Please provide a copy of their current vaccinations so that I may keep it in their file. It is also highly recommended that your pet is on a monthly flea preventative. If your pet has fleas or ticks he/she will automatically be given a medicated bath at an additional charge of $5.00. I work hard to keep the premises flea and tick free, so if you know your pet has them, please tell me immediately.
-Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem, or aggravate a current one. This may occur during or after your pet’s grooming. If you know of any existing problems, please bring them to my attention. If your pet’s fur is matted or tangled, your pet is at greater risk for stress or injury. Please be aware that removing mats from your pet’s coat may cause skin irritations and/or nicks. Every precaution will be taken in trying to prevent such occurances.
-If your pet becomes aggressive and/or unmanageable during the grooming process, causing stress or potential injury to themselves or me, I have the right to terminate the session. I will charge accordingly for the amount of work I have completed.
Cancellation and “no show” policies
I have these policies in place because pampering your pet is not only my passion, but my career. Each scheduled appointment plays a vital role in my work day. When you schedule an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for your pet. Please be courteous and give at least a 24 hour cancellation or reschedule notice. This will give me time to restructure my schedule accordingly. Failure to do so will require you to pay half of your total invoice. This will also hold true if you do not arrive at all to your pet’s scheduled appointment.

Regular grooming is a part of your pet’s overall health and well being. In order to keep your pet looking and feeling their best, it is recommended that you have your pet on a regular grooming schedule. Depending on the breed of dog you have, and their coat type, most doggies are groomed on an every 4-8 week schedule. Appointment availability varies, and it is recommended that you schedule out your pet’s future spaw visits in advance.
The Dirty Dog Grooming Co. is a home based salon. Even though I work from home, it is important to me and my family to have some privacy. You will only be given directions to the salon when you schedule an appointment for your pet.
You are welcome to wait for your pet, but I ask that you wait outside where your pet can not see you. While I am pampering your pet, I need to provide my full attention. I also need your pet’s undivided attention. This will ensure a safe and pleasant grooming process. Most grooms only take a couple hours and I will call you as soon as your pet is ready to go home. While I am grooming your pet, it is also difficult for me to answer the phone. I do check my messages throughout the day and will return your call as soon as possible!
Our salon also offers a doggie play area. Your doggie is welcome to play and make new friends while spending time here. I also provide crates for those pups that may be shy or aggressive. During their visit to the spaw, I will take your pup out for potty breaks. Before entering the salon, please make sure your pet has gone to the bathroom as well.
Denver, the official spokesdog of The Dirty Dog Grooming Co., resides in the house and the backyard. He may not be welcoming to your pet. So please do not walk your pet around his fenced area. Sometimes he forgets his manners with other dogs!
Cash and checks are accepted. There is a $15.00 charge on all returned checks.
